Grace Auger

Grace practiced as a Crown Prosecutor for the first five years gaining a great deal of court room experience. She briefly worked with Rath and Company, before taking on a role with Legal Aid at their Siksika office for five years, where she focused on criminal and family law.

As a Bigstone Cree band member Grace has a keen interest in bridging the gap between the aboriginal community and western society. Grace has spent several years along with her deceased husband Dale being active in theatre and the arts as a means to bridge the gap. Grace's children are following in their father's footsteps and are becoming successful artists which is a passion for the family.

Grace is happy to be back at Rath and Company to pursue to long term goal practicing Aboriginal law and helping First Nations to protect and preserve their rights. Grace's vast courtroom experience will certainly assist in that pursuit.
